Amy Wise is a visual artist based in Southern California. Her paintings focus primarily on the portrait, often abstracted with bold colors and fragmented compositions. More recently she’s expanded her work to include animal portraits and still-life.
She earned her BFA in painting at the San Francisco Art Institute and has exhibited her work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orange County. In addition to her studio practice, she has worked as an art instructor, and artist assistant and live art broadcaster on Twitch.
